Maru

The Maru collective to listen to which at concerts, today an increasing number of people come, are known as a duet, in which there is a vocalist and a double bass player. The members of this musical group Maru, whose concerts take place in many cities of our country, are Olga Lukacheva - a singer who sings jazz, as well as Dudko Denis, whom everyone knows as the bassist of the popular project "Ocean Elzy".
Initially, the author's versions of the already existing songs of the Maru group were demonstrated. After some time, the guys decided to expand the composition of the team.
The guitar was played by Sasha Zbrotsky, whom the public knows thanks to his collaboration with the VOLGA: FUNK project.
The musicians put Litvinenko Pasha, a jazz pianist, as a keyboard player. He now plays in Boombox. Lyulyakin Sasha and Glinin Denis began to play the drums.
To date, the project has already recorded a full-length collection "1" and 3 clips. The recording took place at a professional recording studio.
This collective is strikingly different from other groups in Ukraine in that it plays in a genre that is unlike anything else.
This is not so easy to judge, since they started performing on stage just recently, and the answer to the question did not occur to them: what should be different from other groups.
But if we take into account the domestic product, then their style still has certain differences.
The guys have their own style for themselves, perfectly understanding what this style is, what it is.
They realized that they didn’t just want to present covers, but they weren’t interested in their own material either. To realize this, the group took about 6 months from the beginning of their existence.
At that time, a lot of musical ideas were already collected in the recorder. The musicians chose the melody, which in the future became known as the first track of the group called "With you". Since this all started.
The audience responded just fine, nothing better than emotional admiration and not to be expected.
If we talk about critics, then for the project participants these are their close people, admirers and just comrades. What they think is most important.
The aforementioned expansion of the band's line-up was done in order to expand the range of their musical possibilities.
The greatest influence on the formation of the collective was exerted by the world famous group The Beatles. Musicians can continuously listen to their music collection "Rubber Soul".
The team brings the main creative ideas to life in the evening.
The guys spent most of their time recording the song "Sparks". For 4 months they worked on it.
In the course of the recording process, a lot of new ideas came to mind, and therefore so much time was spent on the track.
For the band, the realization that the single was really a success is an indicator that he lived in such an arrangement for a certain period of time.
After numerous auditions, it finally becomes clear what this song is. But it happens that sometimes in the process of inventing, the musicians already realize that the track is really super-duper.
